Tyre Questions

You can find the size of your tyre on the sidewall of the tyre.

Tyre sizes can be a little confusing.
Most mower and ATV tyres will have the size written similar to this example: 15x6.00-6. The 15 refers to the height of the tyre, the 6.00 refers to the width and the 6 refers to the rim size. These numbers are all measured in inches.

In most cases, the last one or two digits of a tyre size are the rim size. For example, a 25x10.00-12 will have a 12” rim as the last two digits are the number 12.
NHS stands for Non Highway Service. This means that the tyre is not suitable to be used on asphalt or tarsealed roads. Tyres with NHS written on the sidewall are simply not made to handle the heat that builds up when a tyre is driven at higher speeds and longer durations on sealed roads.
PR stands for Ply Rating. The ply rating helps to identify the load carrying capacity of a tyre in terms of plies.

Delivery

We offer free delivery to the metro areas of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane (including Ipswich) for orders over $100. Areas outside of these locations have capped delivery rates depending on your location and order volume.

Please note that our metro areas are defined by our courier partner and their serviceable zones.

Free delivery does not include Mitas products, clearance items, bulk orders or bulky items (which includes but is not limited to - truck tyres, SUV tyres, agricultural and tractor tyres, OTR, heavy industrial tyres).

If a bulk order is placed, free delivery may be available. Please Contact Us prior to placing a bulk order.

Some products may be too heavy for general courier transit, so a freight quote will be required. If this is the case, you can save your cart as a quote before making any payments.

Contact Us with your quote number and we will work out a delivery rate for your order.

We ship Australia wide! Where some locations are too remote, couriers will arrange a drop to a local depot or store. In this case, the depot will be in contact to advise that your delivery is at their depot.
To avoid any delays or stock being returned to us, please be sure your contact information is correct at the time of ordering.

At the present time, we do not ship outside of Australia. However, if you wish to make a purchase and ship internationally, we are happy to have your goods delivered to a shipping depot within Australia for on-forwarding to your location.
Please Contact Us for more information on this.

Our preferred method of delivery is via couriers. Delivery to PO Boxes and parcel lockers is available on request if a physical address is not available. Please note that any deliveries to PO boxes or parcel lockers may incur additional delivery charges and/or handling time.

Please Contact Us before placing any orders for PO Box delivery.

In most cases, your order will be dispatched within 1-3 business days. On the rare occasion a delay is to occur, we will contact you via email to notify you of the delay. Most local deliveries will be received in 1-3 business days from dispatch. Regional areas will take a bit of extra time, you can expect to see your delivery within 5-7 business days. Deliveries to remote areas can take anywhere between 7 - 12 business days.

Due to the fact that we use a courier service, we cannot give a time on when your order will be delivered. Most of our parcels are sent via Fastway couriers.
If your order has been sent with Fastway, view the Fastway Courier Locator Page and enter the postcode your order is being sent to. The courier locator will be able to give you a rough estimate on when your local courier will be in that area.

Unfortunately the couriers that we use do not offer the option to text or call on arrival.

In most cases, the carrier will require a signature on delivery. So there are no delays in receiving your order, it pays to mark your order with authority to leave in the comments section before completing your order. Make sure you give clear instructions on the location you would like your parcel left if no one is home.

If your item has already been dispatched and you would like to ensure your item is left without a signature, please contact the carrier and request that they leave the item without a signature. They will normally ask that you sign an agreement in advance taking responsibility for the item being left without a signature. You will need the consignment number / tracking number in order to lodge an ATL.

Most courier companies work to a timetabled pick-up and delivery route.
If your order has been sent with Fastway, you can arrange for your redelivery at a specific time – within the couriers timetable.
You can use the Fastway Courier Locator to find out what time the Courier Franchisee is in your area.

Majority of the time, orders are dispatched with Fastway couriers. Depending on the items being sent and where they are going, there is the odd occasion that we will use Australia Post or Toll IPEC.
You will know which carrier has been used once you receive the dispatch email for your order.
For more information about receiving parcels from Fastway couriers, view the Fastway FAQ Page.
